The committee of Boerboel Owners Club Australia Inc. (The Australian Boerboel Society with S.A.Studbook) are proud to announce that as of the 16th of September 2016, Boerboel Owners Club Australia Inc. was granted the status of The Australian Boerboel Breed Society – with S.A.Studbook, by S.A Studbook themselves.
Boerboel Owners Club Australia Inc. are thankful for this opportunity to represent the breed as the Australian Boerboel Society with S.A.Studbook in our own country with our own,beautiful, South African Boerboels.
South African Studbook is the governing body worldwide and the only legal registry for correctly registered and appraised Boerboels judged by a senior, approved S.A.Studbook appraiser. All dogs born or associated with Boerboel Owners Club Australia Inc. (The Australian Boerboel Society-with S.A.Studbook), have passed the stringent requirements stipulated by S.A. Studbook.
Some of the requirements needed are that all breeding dogs are to be DNA profiled/parentage profiled and results kept on file with S.A. Studbook. All breeding dogs are to be appraised by a Senior South African Studbook Appraiser to the breed standard of the country of origin. to qualify to be part of the database for Boerboel Owners Club Inc. (The Australian Boerboel Society-with S.A.Studbook).
